Apricot Rugulah - 1/2 dozen
History: Some people want just a bite of a sweet. A cookie is too big, a chocolate chip not big enough. So we came up with this mini, apricot filled version of our popular rugulah. A half dozen won't break the bank, but it'll cheer up the office staff on a rainy afternoon.
Uses: To satisfy your sweet tooth in one scrumptious bite; a good size treat for youngsters.
Description: A sweet cream cheese pastry dough with a hint of almond and cinnamon. Rolled around a spread of apricot preserves and sprinkled with crushed walnuts.
Ingredients: Pastry flour, butter, walnuts, apricot preserves, cream cheese, egg, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, powdered sugar, almond extract, vanilla, salt.
