History: Jodie was experimenting with new muffins-he got tired of blueberry-and created this recipe by adding fresh brewed coffee to the batter and making a dynamite walnut-crumb topping. It soon dominated the pastry case and over the years has made many people happy.
Uses: Take a few extras along and give them to your co-workers. They will score you points and make people smile. They are great with Mocha Mexicana!
Description: These muffins are two treats in one. The crumb topping is crunchy and cinnamon flavored, good enough to slice off and eat alone. The bottom is a moist rich muffin with a blend of vanilla and coffee flavors.
Ingredients: Brown Sugar, flour, sugar, buttermilk, baking powder, baking soda, salt, poppyseeds, coffee, eggs. TOPPING: Sugar, flour, cinnamon, butter, walnuts
